DEO Mangan Holds Fourth Weekly Meeting on SIR with Representatives of Political Parties

The District Election Officer (DEO)-cum-District Collector, Mangan, Mr Anant Jain, chaired the fourth weekly meeting with representatives of recognised political parties on the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls 2026 at his office today.

The meeting was attended by Joint Secretary, Election, Mangan District, Mr Karma Sherpa, along with representatives of the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM).

During the meeting, matters related to the ongoing SIR process were discussed, with emphasis on ensuring the smooth and transparent conduct of the revision exercise. The representatives were apprised of the progress made so far and were encouraged to extend necessary cooperation in the electoral roll revision process.

A consolidated list of claims and objections received from across the district till date was also handed over to the representatives for their reference and necessary information.
